You are bidding on a beautiful thumbnail specimen of Fluorite crystals on dolomite from the Elmwood Mine, Carthage, Smith County, Tennessee.

The famous Elmwood Mine re-opened briefly in 2007-2008 and a few thousand specimens were recovered. This piece came from that effort. The mine has since closed again.

Using a longwave UV lamp, the fluorite will fluoresce blue.

It measures 3/4 x 1 1/4 x 3/4 inches. This will make a great addition to your collection.
