Ucchuchaquaite

A fine thumbnail sized specimen of Ucchuchaquaite from the type locality for the species-- Peru's Ucchuchaqua mine. This specimen features rich massive and semi-crystalline material over much of the matrix. A fine example of this rare silver and manganese bearing sulfosalt which is only known from three localities worldwide.

　　如店家老板所言這是很稀少的礦物，然而使用 Ucchuchaquaite 在網路搜尋卻沒有結果，查陳培源編譯的礦物名稱手冊找到差好幾個字母的 Uchucchacuaite，但其譯名硫銻鉛銀礦並不像老板所言是以銀錳為主要成份的礦物，但我知道中文譯名原就有部分值得討論，於是便以 Uchucchacuaite 搜尋，果然化學式為 AgPb3MnSb5S12 確實有錳，經查銀礦含錳的礦物只有幾種，一為氧化物，餘為硫化物，如此特別的礦物其中文譯名應標示才對，而不是以重量百分比次序排列。至於礦物公司老板為知名礦物專家，應該是使用拉丁原文，才會無法使用Google 搜尋。
