ACTINOLITE AU6 Tanzania

(This locality is not in MinDat.) Exceptional sharp, singly terminated crystal for the species, much of the center is transparent. Unfortunately there is a visible chip out of the termination and back side is cleanly cleaved.

　　陽起石 Actinolite 產出以纖維狀或致密纖維聚集的塊狀居多，她的姐妹透閃石雖有“透”為其名，然稍大塊之標本也因其纖維構造而不很透，坦桑尼亞已經有丹泉石聞名於世，今又發現大塊透明狀之陽起石，雖然還沒引起眾人興趣，但在事實上確是十分珍貴的。
