　　在進入緬甸寶石的賣場，最初會以為應該是翡翠與紅寶石最受矚目，然而卻大感意外竟然是無色結晶有趣的矽鈹石最熱門，如圖一：

矽鈹石學名Phenacite 或Phenakite，成份Be2SiO4，硬度７．５還算高；在熱烈的氣氛下我們再採購大一點的結晶，如圖二：

並且再買一件帶母岩的標本，如圖三：

收到時店家加上了紅絲帶，如圖四：

我們博物館向該寶石公司購買的寶石、原礦超過二百件以上，為表示謝意老板選擇矽鈹石繫上紅絲帶，顯然緬甸人以為矽鈹石具有最高振動能量的傳言有其真實性；不但對疾病有治癒的功能，更可以打開智慧的第三隻眼穿透真相。我們節錄兩段原文供大家參考：
